On November 26, 2025, the launch of the "Hailian Hangzhou" Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Comprehensive Service Platform and the Global Sourcing Matchmaking Event was held at China Data Valley in Binjiang, Hangzhou. The event brought together nearly 50 overseas buyers from 30 countries and regions, 35 local high-quality purchasing enterprises, and representatives from 350 premium manufacturing companies for in-depth exchanges and matchmaking focused on advanced manufacturing and future industries.
The event marked the official launch of the "Hailian Hangzhou" Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Comprehensive Service Platform, a joint initiative by the Hangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau and Haizhi Online. Designed to meet the development needs of Hangzhou's advanced manufacturing sector, the platform serves as a core vehicle for supply chain services. Leveraging Haizhi Online's strengths in multi-industry aggregation, integrated business formats, and supply chain infrastructure that connects large, medium, and small enterprises, it establishes a tripartite system with Hangzhou as the central hub. This system combines platform-enabled supply chain collaboration, policy-driven supply chain upgrading, and ecosystem aggregation of supply chain resources.
The platform deeply integrates with Hangzhou's "296X" advanced manufacturing cluster strategy. Amidst rapid evolution in trade counterparts, risks, and models, it explores the use of digital and network-based methods to build more reliable, efficient, and sustainable global supply-demand connections. This supports Hangzhou enterprises in faster entry into emerging markets with high growth and potential, achieving the high-quality development goal for the "296X" advanced manufacturing cluster supply chain: "Rooted in Hangzhou, Radiating Nationally, Linked Globally."
The matchmaking event focused on key Hangzhou advanced manufacturing industries, including Embodied AI, Intelligent Terminals, Semiconductors & Integrated Circuits, High-End Medical Devices, Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICV), and Aerospace. A session was dedicated to demand presentations by domestic and international buyers. Four purchasing representatives took the stage to detail their company profiles, core procurement needs, and expectations regarding capabilities and cooperation with manufacturing partners. This concentrated and transparent sharing allowed participating factory representatives to better grasp global market opportunities and gain clearer insight into the technical processes and quality standards across various segments. The venue featured dedicated "Overseas Buyer Matchmaking Zones" and "Domestic Buyer Matchmaking Zones," enabling manufacturers to efficiently target potential clients based on their own strengths.
Following the event, the overseas buyer delegation continued their itinerary with site visits to key Hangzhou industrial facilities. Organizers arranged for the international guests to tour several representative Hangzhou factories. These on-site exchanges and production scene inspections provided a direct view of the factories' production processes and quality management systems, laying a solid foundation for potential long-term and stable cooperation.
According to a relevant responsible person, the "Hailian Hangzhou" Global Sourcing Matchmaking Event for Advanced Manufacturing aims to directly connect international demand with Hangzhou's industrial clusters, enable local enterprises to access the global market "at their doorstep," accelerate the transformation of innovation into industrial application, and help companies integrate faster into the global supply system.
